Soongsil’s footprints lead to creation of a new history. Soongsil’s advanced education system cultivates true leaders That were equipped with competence and open mindedness. Competing global talents lead the ages of educated through major courses specialized into nine colleges and school of Finance, much improved courses in general educations, and even inter-discipline courses of Fusion and convergent. Soongsilians are full of confidence and open mindedness which has been nurtured with diverse level courses as well as community service courses like a servant leadership among others. Soongsilians go beyond disciplinary boundaries to take courses combined of several programs to obtain a wider array of knowledge and acquire a Certificate Fusion Knowledge Acquisition before they head out to meet the world. Since it opened Korea’s first IT College, Soongsil has been recognized as a leading institute and research and education of IT technology with a focus on theory, and specialized applications. Soongsil does not stay in ivory tower but goes out to prove itself as an IT power house by participating in practical research Industrial-academic cooperation with leading companies in Korea.
I see the world from Soongsil. While I stay here in the Residence Hall mingling and communicating with friends from all over the world, I get to cultivate my global mindedness. The future-oriented will be cuties campus gives us hope and passion for our bright future. The campus is lined with artistic building which is won the Korean Institute of Architects Award adding energy to our dreams. Reading, reasoning and debating are integral parts of everyday life for Soongsilians, who are required to finish reading 70 books on the reading lists before graduation. And what about abundant scholarships? Soongsil students can focus on their study without worrying about their financial conditions since each semester the University awards 70 types of scholarships for more than four thousands students You can count on the future of Soongsil University rising up towards a better world!
Soongsil is facing a new world. Its special programs differentiated from other universities reenergizes students as they vie with global competitors The 7+1 Program adds to seven semesters of domestic coursework, one whole semester spent abroad during volunteer work, internships or training!
